Cosmology

Construct Definition

The currently favoured explanation of the creation of the universe, where it is proposed that the universe was born in a rapid expansion (about 1.5 x 10|10 years ago), from a condition of ultra-high density (singularity). Cosmic back-ground radiation studies seem to support this notion, as opposed to the “steady state theory”.

Business Implication

The concept of an ever-expanding universe holds much implication for business and technological innovation, touching upon concepts of space-time and multiple dimensions, touching upon our physical laws and our viewpoint of astronomy.
